Rodriguez and Morgan won the championships from Lita and Becky Lynch when Trish Stratus replaced The Queen of Extreme, who was injured before the match. Unfortunately, Liv Morgan got injured on an episode of SmackDown just 39 days after winning the championship. This resulted in the two women having to vacate their titles.
A fatal four-way was announced for a subsequent episode of Raw, where Rodriguez teamed up with Shotzi. They wrestled against Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Chelsea Green, Sonya Deville, Bayley, and Iyo Sky. The team of Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler won the match and became the new women’s Tag Team Champions.
