Alex Pereira continued to shine as the promotionโ€™s MVP after winning his fourth pay-per-view title fight in 11 months. Pereira achieved UFC history as the fastest double champion. After UFC 307 PPV, he did it yet again, with a third title defense in the shortest gap yet. โ€˜Poatanโ€™ is now living his best life. Heโ€™s also making sure those who helped him along the way are too.

In a new post on X (formerly Twitter), the UFC 205-pound champion shared two photos. Photo 1 is a frail โ€œPoatanโ€ at his parentsโ€™ abode. Photo 2 is an impressive modern 2-storey-mansรฃo with massive windows and marble lining. Itโ€™s a great improvement for his parents, who have worked hard to provide for Poatan and his sibling.

Alex Pereira recently dapped it up withย Valtteri Bottas, Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber, and others at the F1 Grand Prix of Mexicoโ€”qualifying grandstands. The UFC superstar also went viral with fans and K-pop stars in South Korea.

In a video for Complex, where he ends up buying some $2100 Air Jordan IV Retro shoes, the Brazilian also reflected on how life was different. For instance, heโ€™d get a shoe from his father only at yearโ€™s end.

Now, the UFC champ can engage in his own shopping spree and go viral. The Sรฃo Bernardo do Campo favela fighter is also making his acting debutย in the upcoming A24 thrillerย Onslaught. If tire shops to tiring fame were ever in need of a personification, itโ€™d spell โ€œChama,โ€ too. Pereira and his fame have rubbed off on others as well.

In just a few short years, Alex Pereira has successfully made the transition from a GLORY kickboxer to one of the decorated UFC fighters of all time. He is already a GLORY Hall of Famer. โ€˜Poatanโ€™ has also made the case for something similar in MMA.

His kickboxing rivalry with Israel Adesanya was one hell of a run. Pereira (12-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) has fought three times in the span of six months โ€“ scoring knockout victories over Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka. Another, most recently, a Round 4 TKO (punches) over Khalil Rountree at UFC 307.

Elite kickboxer Rico Verhoeven admits that the sight of such a career change has had a knock-on effect on his own career aspirations. He laid it on after the most recent UFC 307 fallout and talks of going up to heavyweight limits.

Definitely not surprised with Alexโ€™s performances because heโ€™s an amazing fighter, โ€ฆHe did amazing in GLORY, and heโ€™s doing amazing now. Yeah, heโ€™s a true athlete, a real hard worker. I love itโ€ฆOf course when I see it, Iโ€™m like โ€˜Oh, man!โ€™ Maybe that would have been something for me, but I donโ€™t know. I truly believe everything in life happens for a reason and you always need to be honest to yourself.

The โ€œPrince of Kickboxingโ€ is the current GLORY heavyweight champ and often spars with UFC counterpart Tom Aspinall. The Brit himself has been in talks of a matchup against Pereira. He even sparred with ex-UFC lineal heavyweight Francis Ngannou. While he has his task to focus on, Verhoeven isnโ€™t ruling out dreaming big of a UFC switch. Verhoeven returns to action on 7 December to face Levin Rigters at GLORY COLLISION 7 in the Netherlands.
