“From the moment he walked into the room, his energy was infectious,” Sophie wrote. “There was no pretense as he excitedly shared stories about his beloved children before the event.” The proud father fondly shared a story about his children’s hair, mentioning, “Archie and Lili have been blessed with their mother’s thick hair,” he humbly admitted. He even joked about how soon his daughter might be able to sit on her long locks. This wasn’t the first time Prince Harry had spoken about the apple of his eye, Archie, and Lilibet.
On a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Harry reminisced about his late mother, Princess Diana, and the strong Spencer gene. “The Spencer gene is undeniably powerful,” he remarked. Initially, he thought his own “ginger genes” wouldn’t stand a chance against his wife’s, but he was pleasantly surprised.
While Prince Harry was away attending the WellChild Awards in the UK and visiting Africa, Meghan held down the fort back at home. According to Vokes-Dudgeon, she not only had her hands full with their two little ones but also their trio of mischievous dogs, who apparently weren’t quite house-trained.
