It was the time when the 38-year-old announced the return of his leukemia and went on hiatus for its treatment. Roman Reignsโ special counsel, Paul Heyman nostalgically revealed some interesting things about it.
While speaking on Tetragrammaton with Rick Rubin, Heyman spoke about how Roman had a life-changing incident and how it shaped his world. He poignantly recalled those days and gave his thoughts on them. The 57-year-old said that his battle with leukemia gave him a deeper appreciation for life.

He said that he would say,โThat manโs a superhero.โ He stated that how John Cena is an incredible person on and off the screen. The 57-year-old also said that Cena does things not out of need but because it is the right thing to do.
He even told the story of how once Vince McMahon asked the 16-time World Champion to do his โMake-a-wishโ campaign publicly. Cena doing it publicly would make people incline more toward it. But the Cenation Leader never approved it, as he had no interest in his recognition. He stayed away from the publicity of it and continued doing it for those childrenโs sake.
