Paddy Pimblett is back for another fight this July. He will feature on the UFC 304 fight card and take on Bobby Green after much extended back and forth online. However, a win in the UK is not where it ends for the Scouser. Pimblett has a complete plan on how he would reach for the UFC lightweight title.
Paddy Pimblett recently did an interview with New York Post Sports. During their discussion, ‘The Baddy’ laid out his game plan for after a successful night at the Co-op Live arena. According to his plan, Pimblett is just four fights away from a title shot in the lightweight division.
Well, obviously I fight, like, Bobby Green, then I fight Moicano… then Dariush would be perfect… and then someone in the top five, know what I mean? And then obviously, go for the belt, if possible.

Since his debut in 2021, Pimblett has five back-to-back wins under his belt. However, ‘The Baddy’ is still unranked in the lightweight division. ‘King Green’ could be his first crack at the division rankings. The UFC veteran ranks #15 in the 155 lbs division. His next target is Renato Moicano, who ranks #10 in the division. However, Moicano is set to take on Benoit Saint-Denis at UFC Paris.
Meanwhile, Beneil Dariush is up there at #7 in the division. So if everything goes according to plan and Pimblett manages to maintain his winning streak, by the end of next year the Scouser could be up there as one of the top contenders in the lightweight division.

Paddy Pimblett’s contract with the UFC is coming to an end with the UFC 304 showdown against ‘King Green’. ‘The Baddy’ recently did an interview with Mike Bohn from MMA Junkie. During their conversation, Pimblett casually said that he might consider boxing some “st*pid YouTubers” who could offer him millions to fight them.

But Pimblett cleared the air with his latest statement to TMZ. He clearly stated that he had no intentions to leave the top promotion in the sport.
I want to be in the UFC, the pinnacle of the sport. No other MMA promotion comes near it.

He said that people took what was said in the interview and put it out of context to put a post up like he wanted to leave the UFC. Pimblett expressed astonishment at how people do not actually listen to the interview and just jump on that one little thing that is being posted.
