Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka saved the UFC 303 card by stepping up for a title clash on short notice. Irrespective of the mutual respect, both fighters got on the wrong foot during the fight week. However, it turns out things have now cleared up between the pair.
Ahead of the fight, Jiri Prochazka accused Alex Pereira of using shamanic magic to win fights. ‘Poatan’ refused the allegations and as both warriors squared up inside the octagon, the Brazilian took home the win. However, after the dust settled Prochazka and Pereira met each other and seemed to have cleared all the doubts.

Pereira is well rooted in his Brazilian tribal roots and religion, often showcasing it by wearing headgear and face paint. During the fight, Pereira yet again showed why he’s one of the biggest stars in the promotion. The rumors about the black magic have since spread all over the MMA community. Heavyweight champion Jon Jones even commented on the incident saying, that energies like that exist.

Pereira vs. Jones is the next super fight according to many and fans are hyped about the fight potentially taking place. The champion has already mentioned that he’s ready to move up and fight ‘Bones’ if the fans want that. However, there is someone else in the light heavyweight division who wants all the smoke against Pereira.

Alex Pereira made his light heavyweight debut against Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291 and the Brazilian took the win via split decision. However, many including Blachowicz thought he won the fight and wanted a rematch. Since then Pereira has fought and won thrice.

After Pereira’s win at UFC 303, Jan Blachowicz is now ready to get his rematch against the champion. The Polish revealed that he won last time and would not take the fight to the judges this time.
So, I believe that I should be the next one for Pereira because you know, he lose against me and I just need to prove one more time that I will not leave the decision to the referee.
