Kayla Harrison is undoubtedly one of the most interesting prospects on the UFC womenโ€™s roster. After her incredible debut at UFC 300, Harrison was expected to soon fight for the bantamweight title. It may not have happened right away. Going into UFC 307, the Olympic gold medalist is extremely confident and has given a rather audacious suggestion.ย

Harrison will compete in a title eliminator against UFC veteran Ketlen Vieira on the UFC 307 main card. The card will also hold the bantamweight championship fight between Julianna Pena and Raquel Pennington. Harrison is eager to get her hands on the UFC title and believes Vieira is an easy win. The two-time Olympic gold medallist asserted that she could easily beat three of them back to back.ย

I wanna be UFC championโ€ฆI will happily walk out after I beat Ketlen and fight both of those girls. I think I can beat all three girls in the same night.ย

Vieira is ranked second in the classification, having just defeated Pannie Kianzad. Moreover, the Brazilian star is hungry to capture the title. On the other hand, Harrisonโ€™s last and only loss was against Larissa Pacheco in the PFL lightweight division. However, a lot has changed since then for โ€˜Dougโ€™, as evidenced by her unmatchable confidence at bantamweight.

Julianna Pena, the co-main event, is confident about reclaiming her lost bantamweight championship. Pena has stated that her 13-year rivalry with Pennington will come to an end this weekend. Pennington is prepared for the challenge and hopes to keep her crown. The top four womenโ€™s bantamweights fighting on the same card has made things far more fascinating than expected.

Julianna Pena is making her UFC return after a two-year-long hiatus due to a rib injury. The last time she fought, the โ€˜Venezuelan Vixenโ€™ lost her bantamweight title to Amanda Nunes. Now, Pena is back and doesnโ€™t want to give anybody an edge over her, especially not Kayla Harrison.

UFC recently held the official press conference of UFC 307 which resulted in a heated exchange between Julianna Pena and Kayla Harrison. Pena claimed that Harrison is new in the UFC in order to call the shots. In retaliation, Harrison, who hates Pena mocked her by comparing their respective MMA recordsย

You started your career in 2009 and youโ€™re 10-5, I started in 2018 and Iโ€™m 17-1.ย

There has been some dissatisfaction over Pena getting a title shot after a two-year gap. Many fans believe that Harrison deserved that shot more than Pena. In response, the former UFC champion stated that beating an old Holly Holm shouldnโ€™t give Harrison a title shot over her.
