In today’s world, technology has become an integral part of our daily lives. With smartphones, laptops, and other gadgets, we have access to a wealth of information at our fingertips. One of the most popular forms of technology is social media. Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have millions of users worldwide, and they have changed the way we communicate and interact with each other. In this article, we will explore the impact of social media on society and how it has affected our lives.

There are often moments when players meet fans and have rather funny conversations with them. Itโ€™s joyous for both the fans and the players. Novak Djokovic recently in an interview with the Wish&Go Podcast shared a funny incident of him meeting a Serbian fan who didnโ€™t actually root for him.

Well, he rooted for one of Djokovicโ€™s biggest rivals, none other than Roger Federer, and the interaction was an interesting one.

The individual belonged to Serbia and thus was supposed to be a Novak Djokovic fan. But as it turned out, the guy was a Federer fan. The fan clearly mentioned that in all his friends and family he was the only one who rooted for Federer whereas all the others rooted for their local hero Djokovic. The 36-year-old then said to him that he expected many more of such home fans who would root for someone else and not him. So he was glad it was only one. Djokovic being the charismatic character he is, asked the fan what he could do to turn him into his fan. It was a special meeting and a queer one for sure.

This is what Djokovic had to say about the incident, โ€œHe said โ€˜You know Iโ€™m the only person from Serbia who roots for Federer against you.โ€™ I respond โ€˜I didnโ€™t know, I thought there were more of you, but if youโ€™re the only one, thatโ€™s great. How can I make you root for me?โ€™โ€

The 2023 season of Novak Djokovic has taught all of us one thing for sure. Even if the Serb doesnโ€™t do well in normal tour matches, he still is one of the biggest threats when it comes to Grand Slams. Winning both the Australian Open and the French Open this year, he has a few milestones in sight that the Serb would be thrilled to achieve. The first one is the Calendar Slam.

Djokovic was super close to achieving this feat in 2021 but missed out on the absolute final stage, the US Open final. The other milestone will be to equal Roger Federerโ€™s Wimbledon record of 8 titles. The third one which is not spoken much about but is extremely huge in importance when it comes to the history of the sport is the fact that the Serb will equal Margaret Court in winnings the most number of Grand Slams as a Singles player.

Court has 24 of them and Djokovic is now tied with Serena Williams at 23. He would love to win at the All England Club and make it 24 and hopefully cross it and make it 25 very soon. Can he do that? Letโ€™s wait and watch as the games begin in two weeksโ€™ time.
