Ever since the rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar started, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has found himself dead center in it. His friendship was the Canadian rapper up until the beef started was what almost everyone concentrated on.
James did not talk about the beef for a long time. Then, Lamar’s diss track ‘Family Matters’ set the ball in motion when the rapper seemingly suggested the Lakers star to keep his family away from Drake. That line seemingly pushed the agenda that the Canadian rapper was an alleged pedophile.
To the shock of fans, LeBron James was later seen rapping to Lamar’s tracks. They understood that the four-time champion had switched sides. He then openly claimed he liked Lamar’s diss track ‘Not like Us’ more than any other song at the time.
James has a reputation of switching sides as he did in his career to win NBA titles. That became a sticking point for former Los Angeles Lakers star Nick Young who brought forward this analogy while on Gil’s Arena.
Just how he did Drake. He’s a s**ker…. What I’ve seen is him with Drake all the time, and then when your man get your a** whooped, you start hopping on the other person…. He’s just around people when they hot. That shows like when he left Cleveland for Miami.

The NBA Champion is Kendrick Lamar‘s cousin. But he was appalled at the idea that LeBron James would ditch his close friend Drake. Then to go on and publicly declare his friendship with Lamar was too much. To him, that was similar to how James switched teams whenever his current situation looked sour.
LeBron James once pushed Drake to rap back at his haters
What Nick Young referred to was that LeBron James left his close friend and brother when the heat was on his tail. James switched over as he felt the heat was going to drown Drake and he should not be a part of it.
However, he once told Drake to continue using rap to hit back at those that who undermined him. The case in point was Drake’s beef with rapper Pusha T that started with Pusha T dissing about the Canadian rapper’s son and his friend.
James had then advised Drake to hit back at Pusha T and reply with a rap diss. He also advised that hitting back would not change his opinion of Drake. But now, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar himself has run away from the Canadian’s camp and left him on his own.
Which is why now Drake has apparently come out with a diss track. It hints about the betrayal James and DeMar DeRozan did to him. Both the basketball stars switched over the Kendrick Lamar’s side, even though they were very close with Drake.
