Superstar Jr NTR and Nayanthara graced the silver screen together in the 2010 film Adhurs, which was a massive hit at the box office. The on-screen chemistry between the two lead actors was highly praised, setting the screen on fire. However, did you know that Nayanthara once playfully referred to her Adhurs co-star Jr NTR as a total ‘Brat’?
Fast forward to 2022, Nayanthara was all set for the release of her upcoming film Connect when she sat down for an interview with Dhivyadharshini and Suma Kanakala. During the candid chat, the Bigil actress shared a humorous incident from her time working with Jr NTR on Adhurs.
Nayanthara recalled, “I think he is also a brat, one day I was doing some touch-up or something like that, and he kept staring at me. I asked him what was wrong, and he replied, ‘Why are you doing so much touch-up?’ I explained that it was just for the take, to which he cheekily responded, ‘No one is going to look at you, everyone is going to look at me.'”
Directed by V. V. Vinayak, Adhurs follows the story of two brothers who are separated at birth and raised differently. The film delves into their journey as adults and takes a twist when one of them is kidnapped by criminals.
During the same interview, Nayanthara also shared her experience working with Prabhas, calling him a brat as well. She described the Kalki 2898 AD actor as sweet and childlike, but noted that he used to play pranks and joke around on set when they worked together. Nayanthara also commended Prabhas for his rise to stardom since their collaboration in Yogi in 2007.
