Dana White is one of the biggest reasons for the massive success of UFC as an MMA promotion. Over the decades, White has shown why he’s one of the best promoters in the fight business. However, he does have one passion other than the UFC. It is his love for gambling.

With a net worth of around $500 million, White doesn’t mind risking his money on a regular basis. During a recent interview with Shannon Sharpe on his channel, Club Shay Shay, White talked about his blackjack dream hand.

My strategy is this. I wanna bet as much as I possibly can in one hand ….My goal before I die is to bet a million-dollar hand.

Dana White is well known for his serial gambling habits and has been playing blackjack for many years. In the process, White has made and lost a lot of money. However, while gambling it’s impossible not to lose some and in the case of White the amount is astronomical. While talking about it, White is revealed to have lost around $6 million in the span of 20 years.

White has also talked about getting drunk and losing a whopping $3 million in one night while gambling. On top of his gambling tendencies, White has also been in other controversies like hitting his wife in a pub. As a result of all this, White has also received a lot of flak from his critiques. However, that doesn’t seem to bother the man who is the face of the biggest MMA promotion in the world.

During one interview with Lex Fridman on his podcast, White opened up about his biggest wins in his gambling history. White then talked about winning a total of $12 million by playing blackjack at Caesars Palace throughout the summer.

It seems like other than making fights and providing high-octane MMA action, it is not the only way Dana White makes his money. Given how good White is in gambling, it makes sense why several casinos in Las Vegas have banned him. Nevertheless, White’s never-ending love for gambling seems inevitable and it also doesn’t seem to be making him bankrupt anytime soon.
