It looks like Ian Garry has repeatedly underestimated Michael Venom Page. He has constantly predicted MVPโs matchups and the Brit has proved him wrong time and time again. This time Page took to Instagram to declare that he intends to prove Garry wrong one more time.
Michael Venom Page recently uploaded a hilarious reel on Instagram. It was an entertaining fight promo of the former Bellator star reacting to some clips of his welterweight opponent, Ian Garry. In the caption, Page wrote: โI say you go 0 โ 3 on your predictions.โ
The first clip of Ian Garry in that reel was him at a press conference. The Irish star spoke about Michael Pageโs debut fight in the UFC. He fought Kevin Holland at UFC 299. According to Garry, there was no chance Page could beat Holland in a fight. The UK star put on an entertaining performance and took home his debut UFC win via a unanimous decision.
Garryโs next clip was him talking about a potential fight with Page in the octagon and how there was no chance of it ever happening. They are fighting now this June at UFC 303 on the Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler undercard. Page ended the reel with a final question for Garry asking him to predict who would win their fight.
Kevin Holland comments on Ian Garry vs. Michael Page for UFC 303
Ian Garry had been pushing for a fight with Colby Covington to feature on the Conor McGregor undercard for a while now. But Covington did not show up and things were looking slim for the Irish welterweight. However, UFC CEO, Dana White recently announced that โThe Futureโ will take on Michael โVenomโ Page on the undercard of UFC 303.
Kevin Holland who took on Michael Page as his first opponent had something to say about this matchup. Although Page was a slight underdog going into the fight he dominated the experienced UFC fighter throughout the bout. Appearing as an Instagram comment, Holland wrote: โI hope he beat him worse then he did meโ
Page had spoken after the fight that UFC 299 was just a fraction of what he could do in the octagon. With such a promise, can we expect to see Page give Ian Garry his first career loss this June? Only time will tell.
