Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler is probably the most anticipated fight in the UFC this year. They almost fought at UFC 303 before McGregor pulled out due to injury. Now the fight has been postponed indefinitely, however, Chandler may have just revealed the potential new date.
Michael Chandler recently sent out a tweet on X. The tweet was a response to a fan who stated that McGregor vs. Chandler was going to take place on September 14th. Chandler retweeted that tweet and put his reaction in the caption.

September 14th would mean Mexican Independence Day which is one of the biggest events of the year in the UFC. The UFC CEO, Dana White has teased for the longest time that the UFC would host a once-in-a-lifetime event at the ‘Sphere’ in Las Vegas. Millions of dollars have already been spent and exciting matchups like Merab Dvalishvili vs. Sean O’Malley have been targeted for this event.
The addition of Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler might just have added to the already exciting lineup. However, one thing that UFC analysts and others had previously pointed out was that McGregor is a main-event fighter. But neither McGregor nor Chandler is Mexican. So will this year’s UFC event be headlined by non-Mexican fighters? Or will McGregor and Chandler step down in the main card?

He walked out to reveal the party going on in the distance at the Montreux Palace Hotel in Switzerland and the fans posted outside. But here was the UFC superstar working out late in the night.
