The relationship between Sean OโMalley and Conor McGregor has deteriorated significantly in the last few months. Once a fan, OโMalley is now publicly taking shots at the โNotoriousโ. While there are various reasons for this fallout, their recent dispute covers a rather sensitive topic.
During one of his latest podcasts, Sean OโMalley talked about the time he was found positive for Ostarine. According to โSugaโ, Ostarine can be transferred through sweat as he didnโt take the drug. However, this didnโt sit well with McGregor who taunted OโMalleyโs claims via X. In retaliation, the bantamweight champion ripped McGregor by questioning his legacy as a MMA fighter.ย
Conor isnโt in anyone GOAT talk. Entertainment yes but skills, no. Has a really good left hand. Sh*t Cardio. Weak Jits. Decently athletic. Mentally weak. Drug addict, needs rehab. 1-4 last 5 fights. Still fan tho. Hope toe heals up

OโMalley pointed out that McGregor has lost four times in his last five bouts including the boxing bout and had a massive downfall. OโMalley revealed that irrespective of all that, heโs still looking forward to his comeback and wished for his speedy recovery. It seems like OโMalley still has respect for the Irishman but doesnโt look up to him anymore like earlier.ย
In May, McGregor went on a social media rant against boxer Ryan Garcia, who tested positive for Ostarine. Similarly, OโMalley was also ridiculed by McGregor for testing positive for the same substance in 2019. This was the beginning of the ongoing feud between OโMalley and McGregor which doesnโt seem to be ending anytime soon.
Sean OโMalley will always remain a fan of Conor McGregor
After the rant, during a live stream, Conor McGregor tried to mend things with Sean OโMalley. McGregor mentioned that he was angry at Ryan Garcia and OโMalley got caught in the crossfire. The bantamweight champion mentioned that he talked privately with McGregor but that wasnโt the case.
OโMalley has always been a huge fan of Conor McGregor. The fighter has followed the โMystic Macโ throughout his career and has taken inspiration from him. In an interview with MMA Fighting, OโMalley mentioned that irrespective of the feud, he will always remain a fan of McGregor.ย
Iโll forever be a massive Conor fan. The biggest fan, watched his career play out, watched every single interview possible. I learned a ton from him. Heโs a legend. Thatโs it. It is what it is

OโMalley mentioned that he wanted to hate McGregor but couldnโt do it because of his immense appreciation for the Irishman. Nevertheless, OโMalley like every other fight fan is looking forward to McGregorโs return. Although there has been no official announcement, the former double champion has revealed talking to Dana White about the fight.ย
