Ian Garry has suggested for Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira to light up the UFC octagon at UFC 303. UFC recently announced UFC 303 to take place inside the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. While the whole card has not been declared, Garry has taken this job upon his shoulders.ย
Ian Garry recently took to his Instagram to share his hypothetical UFC 303 fight card which included him on the co-main event. The fighter also revealed that Max Holloway should defend his BMF title against Charles Oliveira in the same card. According to Garry, it would be an amazing bout, and would serve the audience with an extremely entertaining fight. ย
We got the BMF vs. The guy with the most finishes in UFC history. We have got Charles โDo Bronx’ Oliveira vs. Max โBlessed’ Holloway. This fight would be f***** insane. It would be mayhem and just to put the best possible show, I think these guys, they tick all the boxes.ย

The whole card of UFC 303 will be built around the comeback fight of Conor McGregor against Michael Chandler. As expected, the hype around the event is humongous. As Garry mentioned, adding the Holloway vs. Oliveira fight, on top of the excitement would be a great move by the promotion.
Holloway has revealed his intentions to fight for the featherweight title but he is also mentioned to fight in the lightweight division. Similarly, Oliveira lost his last UFC bout and will get a massive chance to redeem himself. Moreover, it wonโt be the first time the pair have locked horns against each other.ย
What happened when Max Holloway fought Charles Oliveira for the first time?
Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira fought each other for the first time in a main-event featherweight bout. It was a five-round clash at UFC Fight Night 74 back in 2015. Oliveira lost to the โBlessedโ by first-round TKO due to a microtear in his esophagus.
At first, the bout transpired on the feet, but the Brazilian desired to increase the pressure on Holloway. Oliveira was attempting to take down Holloway when he got hurt. As a result of the serious damage, his left side of the body was paralyzed for four hours. The fighter then disclosed that he believed physical therapy had healed the neck injury he had initially suffered during training.
However, Oliveira fought through all the adversities and made one of the biggest comebacks in the history of UFC. Holloway has come a long way too since that fight. It would be amazing to see these former rivals put on a show for the fight fans at UFC 303.
