Tom Aspinall will get back in action in a few days at the co-main event of UFC 304 taking place in Manchester. The fighter is supposed to defend his UFC heavyweight interim championship against old rival Curtis Blaydes. However, ahead of the fight, the fighter has made some shocking revelations about Mark Zuckerberg.

Mark Zuckerberg is a huge fan of UFC and has been in various pay-per-view events. The Meta CEO was last present at UFC 300 where he interacted with many fighters. He was present at the octagon side and carefully watched all the fights. In a recent interview with Manchester’s Finest, Aspinall talked about how he unknowingly ignored an Instagram DM from Zuckerberg.

We were at Meta in New York, doing some stuff, learning about socials. The guy we were speaking with was talking about Mark Zuckerberg, and was saying ‘I think he follows you’. We went on the follow, and he’d messaged me. I’d not seen it. I’d left him there a few months.

Aspinall mentioned that Zuckerberg was cool about that and the pair later had a great conversation. The billionaire has a great interest in MMA and has trained with UFC fighters including Alexander Volkanovski. He also walked out with Volk during his fight with Ilia Topuria at UFC 298. Unfortunately, the Aussie lost the bout and Zuckerberg was traumatized by the brutal knockout.

Given his interests, it is not so surprising to understand why he would have DMed Tom Aspinall after his win. On the other hand, the Brit is currently fully focused on his upcoming rematch with Curtis Blaydes this weekend. In the first bout, Aspinall injured his leg and lost the bout. This is a great opportunity to get his revenge. Nonetheless, it is not the ultimate goal for Aspinall going forward.

Tom Aspinall is the only heavyweight who could potentially beat Jon Jones to become the heavyweight champion

Instead of Curtis Blaydes, Tom Aspinall wanted to fight Jon Jones for the title unification bout. However, ‘Bones’ reportedly refused it as he waited for his legacy fight with Stipe Miocic. The Brit accused Jones of ducking him and went on to discredit him as the champion of the division.

Many experts and fans talked about what could potentially happen in a bout between Jones and Aspinall. Recently, in his YouTube video, Alexander Volkanovski reviewed the UFC 304 fight card. According to the former UFC featherweight champion, Aspinall is capable of anything, including beating Jon Jones.

Tom Aspinall, great fighter, great wrestler, great grappler, great striker – and he’s not just a great striker, he understands the game. He understands ranges, he understands timing, and for a big guy, the way he moves is so fast. If anyone’s going to beat Jon Jones, it’s going to be someone like Tom Aspinall

Aspinall also aims to fight UFC light heavyweight Alex Pereira in a potential clash in the future. However, before that he has to take care of what’s in front of him. The fighter looks to be ready for the clash and has talked about using gypsy techniques to sharpen his skills.
