Mallika Sherawat, the name that once lit up the silver screen with her mesmerizing performances in iconic films like Murder, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, and Welcome, has recently made a stunning comeback. After a hiatus from the big screen, her fans were thrilled to see her grace Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimriโ€™s latest creation, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. In a heart-to-heart chat about her return to Bollywood, the actress opened up about embracing the joys of singlehood.

In a candid interview with Ranveer Allahbadia on his popular YouTube channel, Mallika Sherawat revealed that while she enjoys the attention that comes with being in the spotlight, there is also a darker side to it. When questioned about her relationship status, the actress confidently declared, “Yes,” emphasizing her love for the freedom that comes with being unattached. โ€œJahan mann aaya chal diye. (Wherever I want, I can go) Thatโ€™s what I am loving,โ€ she expressed, highlighting the importance of being with someone who truly values and respects your time and emotions before committing to a relationship.

Despite experiencing both fame and success, Mallika Sherawat has also endured her fair share of criticism and judgement. Reflecting on the negativity she faced, the actress disclosed to Pinkvilla that she chose to leave the country as a coping mechanism. โ€œI left the country. Thatโ€™s how I dealt with it. The kind of bullying and harassment I have faced by a certain section of the media, common public, the judgment that I faced. You know I couldnโ€™t deal with it; it just broke my heart. I left the country. I said, ‘I need to go out of this country to really feel sane’,โ€ Mallika shared, shedding light on the emotional toll it took on her.
