Fight fans who have followed Aspinall’s journey from a UFC debutant to a champion have long desired to see him face the heavyweight champion. However, Jones has consistently ignored the Brit’s UFC career achievements and has often dismissed calls for a title unification fight. Even after the recent statement from the UFC CEO at the press conference, Jones remained steadfast about the fight with Aspinall.
