There’s no other guy that Adesanya should face now because if you see in the top 8 of the division… I think the only option that comes to him is myself, so I think this is the fight to make.

Borralho catapulted to the fifth spot in the middleweight rankings after defeating Jared Cannonier at UFC Vegas 96. He believes that facing Adesanya, despite the latter’s recent setbacks, would solidify his place as a top contender.

Israel Adesanya’s coach reveals another potential fight before the end of the year
Caio Borralho’s wish for a potential fight against Israel Adesanya may not be that far away. Adesanya’s coach, Eugene Bareman, recently suggested that Adesanya will likely fight again before the end of 2024. This would be despite his recent loss at UFC 305.
Bareman recently did an interview with Combat TV. During the interview, he emphasized that Adesanya remains active in training and is eager to return to the octagon soon. Borralho has been pushing to fight Adesanya at UFC 310. The fight is for earlier this year. UFC 307 would be the promotion’s final pay-per-view event of the year.
Meanwhile, Borralho has shown consistent performance with a strong record not having lost a single fight since he made his UFC debut. However, the middleweight division is stacked with potential title contenders like Robert Whittaker and Sean Strickland.
