Logan Paul and KSI’s PRIME Hydration drink has caused a stir in the world as a brand since its inaugural day. Interestingly, a manufacturing company recently filed a lawsuit against them. Per reports, the company is seeking close to $68 million for breach of contract.
The manufacturing company Refresco claimed that Logan Paul and KSI‘s Prime Hydration backed out of a test run. Allegedly, the test run was a part of an agreement between both parties. However, following that, Refresco didn’t want to give PRIME a free leash. The manufacturing company eventually sought damages of around $68 million.
On August 2, 2024, a legal suit was filed against Logan Paul’s Prime Hydration drink. The lawsuit claimed that PRIME and Refresco Beverages had reached an agreement to invest further capital. This investment was supposed to change its manufacturing process to make special bottles.
As a result of this investment in the production line, the two companies reached an agreement. Interestingly, PRIME did not fulfill the agreed-upon minimum order commitment. Now, as per the agreement, if Paul and KSI’s PRIME Hydration fails to fulfill that, they might be sued.
This lawsuit against PRIME is part of a growing list of legal issues facing the influencer-led drink company. A few weeks back, they were sued by the US Olympic Committee for trademark infringement. Not only this, Paul’s company, PRIME, was also accused of having harmful chemicals that might eventually hamper a person’s health.
Logan Paul’s PRIME Hydration’s “Forever Chemicals“ lawsuit explained
Logan Paul and KSI’s PRIME Hydration have had their share of controversies over the past few months. Interestingly, PRIME was slapped with a lawsuit in August 2023 in one such instance. It claimed that the drink includes polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). PFAS are also called “forever chemicals” in general.

This accumulation can negatively impact human health and the natural environment. Milberg, the company that filed the lawsuit against PRIME, claims that the testing for these chemicals only pertains to the grape flavor of the hydration formula. The lawsuit does not reference tests for other flavors of the PRIME hydration formula or the PRIME Energy drink.

Later, Logan Paul made a statement on TikTok about the current lawsuit. Paul clarified the doubts about how the product’s manufacturing and distribution processes. He allegedly disproved the claims against the company. Amidst these troubling phases, PRIME Hydration has also witnessed immense success as a brand. However, it remains to be seen how Paul and KSI tackle this current issue.
