Kamaru Usman recently went on ESPN MMA for UFC Live. Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad will clash this July at UFC 304 and Usman gave his thoughts on the matchup. During the discussion, Usman said he would like to see more dominance from the welterweight champion.
I think it’s a good fight. I like the confidence with which Leon is carrying now you know… But it’s just a little things I would like to see from him is that killer come out.

The former champion said that if Edwards knew he was the ‘top dog’, he has to prove it to each and every contender who wanted his spot. Usman believes he has grown over the years. He said ‘Rocky’ now understands the responsibility of being a champion and how he has to train his mentality which shows in his fights.
Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards have clashed thrice in the UFC. Edwards captured his title from Usman and successfully defended it again at UFC 286. But as of now, Usman revealed he is only focused on getting healthy.

The UFC is returning to the UK with UFC 304. Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad will headline the main event at the Co-Op Live arena in Manchester. Muhammad will fight his first ever title shot in his UFC career but this is not the first time the two have met inside the octagon.
Their previous encounter back in 2021 ended prematurely in an unfortunate eye-poke incident which left ‘Remember The Name’ unable to continue. Edwards recently did an interview with talkSPORT where he gave his prediction for the showdown.
I win, I feel like I stop him in the third. I truly believe that I am just skill-for-skill better than him. I’ve had a little feel of him, in the first fight, so going in to the second fight I’m more confident. I know how he felt in within the clinch, within his punches and everything. I’m excited for it.

Meanwhile, Belal Muhammad gave his prediction on social media where he declared he would leave the welterweight champion unconscious. This was a long-awaited title shot for ‘Remember The Name’ who has gone undefeated ever since they last clashed at UFC Fight Night 187.
