LeBron James will be playing alongside his son Bronny come next season as the Lakers have drafted the USC Trojans guard this year. Meanwhile, LeBron’s wife Savannah James had to ‘switch it up a bit‘ alongside the youngest member of the James crew, Zhuri, by hopping on Megan Thee Stallion‘s viral “Mamushi” trend and sharing it on her Instagram story.

The 15 second clip shows Savannah James and her daughter, Zhuri, dancing and simply vibing—in utmost coherence if one might add—in the “Mamushi” hip-hop challenge. As an active member and contributor on Instagram with 2.5 million followers, Savannah often posts about her family and her “Everybody’s Crazy” podcast, which has a 4.8 rating on Spotify.

Savannah James‘ usual content consists of advertisements, or promotions, or random clips featuring her family with captions along the lines of, “A chaotic, made from boredom video“. It goes without saying that she has been cracking the Instagram algorithm with proficiency. As she seems to be nailing the content-creation game, she tried something different with this trend as she captioned her latest story:

The Mamushi trend has taken over the gram with people dancing along its Japanese lyrics. For Megan, who is an anime-lover and a manga fan, the song is a perfect amalgamation of her rap and her not-so secretive love for the Japanese entertainment industry.

Savannah James was at Kendrick Lamar’s concert

Just a couple of weeks ago, Savannah James was seen at Kendrick Lamar’s “The Pop Out” concert in Vancouver along with LeBron James. This majestic affair almost made LeBron enter the stage with Kendrick were it not for Savannah who, as the fans joke, gave him a sassy look.

The Kendrick and Drake feud has people running around to their side of the ring. Likely, the celebrities too will pick their sides. While people expected LeBron to side with Drake in this battle of the rappers, they found themselves puzzled, with Savannah and LeBron’s attendance at Kendrick’s concert being a clear contradiction to the general notion.

The pair was seen enjoying the concert, turning it up to Kendrick’s “Not Like Us“, which is a diss track on Drake. Fans turned up to Twitter to mention that he performed that particular song five times, having the fans sing along word-to word. For such reasons, the fans speculate the pair’s visible emphasis on the song could even have a secret message hidden underneath.

Well known for their love of rap, the duo has been spotted vibing to various artists on multiple occasions. From LeBron singing along to the lyrics of Lamar’s “Like That” during a game to Savannah James jamming to Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” at her own birthday party, their musical preferences are loud and clear.
