NBA legend LeBron James picked his Super Bowl LIX matchup. In his view, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens will be there from the AFC and not the Kansas City Chiefs.
During a recent interview with DraftKings Network, James picked the two teams’ favorites to play in the next Super Bowl. He believes the Ravens are ahead of the Chiefs because of one player, Derrick Henry.
James personally likes the all-pro running back because of his dynamic playing style. However, he did not count out the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes.
I think it’s Baltimore’s chance finally. I got Baltimore coming out of the AFC [but] I am not counting out Patty Mahomes. is like you never count out Tom Brady obviously, and I feel like it’s gonna be Baltimore’s year. They got Derrick Henry Man, one of my favorite players in the NFL.

If not the Chiefs then who? LeBron James picks the second team to play against the Ravens in Super Bowl LIX
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar excluded the Chiefs from playing in Louisiana next year. Instead of the defending champions, he picked the San Francisco 49ers to reach back-to-back Super Bowls.
I think the Niners, man—they just right there. Another year with Brock Purdy and the rest of those guys—that’s one to punch with—Deebo [Samuel] and Brandon Aiyuk. I think it will be a rematch of the Niners and Baltimore.

Jackson recently revealed that he wasn’t 100% during the AFC title game earlier this year. The 2x NFL MVP had massive pain in his legs and wasn’t able to properly utilize them against the Chiefs.
How I’m feeling right now? I wish I was feeling like this, body-wise, in the AFC Championship. We would have won the game. I would have been able to move around for my guys. With me just hurting and can’t move, I know if my legs were good, we would have won that. We wouldn’t have even had to throw the ball.

Well, the DraftKings bookmakers have slightly different views from James. They agree with the 49ers being one of the teams in Super Bowl LIX, but they picked the Chiefs over the Ravens to play against Brock Purdy’s side.
