The meme coin started at $10 per coin and saw a surge in demand. That demand helped push it upwards and it kept rising up the ranks throughout the day. It peaked at $74 and many who invested cashed out. A cash out though usually leads to a drop in valuation, which also impacted $TRUMP.
Some were skeptical if the coin will crash. However, those who are well versed with how cryptocurrency works, and have sufficient experience handling meme coins are optimistic. One such optimist is Tristan Thompson. The 33-year-old took to X to write this.

But he wrote a lot of points which might make the casual reader feel he knows what he is doing. However, he also cautioned many from risking it all with Donald Trump‘s meme coin. Rather, he asked his fans to use the opportunity to learn about other ways to trade in cryptocurrency.

While trying to educate fans, he suggested they look at various methods to try their hand at cryptocurrency. In doing so, many fans were curious why he was promoting $TRUMP or other crypto tools. They wanted to know if he was promoting them for some kickbacks.
