Kyrie Irving made an appearance at Kai Cenat‘s “Mafiathon 2” stream on Thanksgiving, November 28, 2024. During the series of conversations, the Dallas Mavericks guard opened up about his extremely private relationship with Marlene Wilkerson. More specifically, Irving revealed the moment that he knew his wife was ‘the one’ for him. That moment, for Irving, came when he shed those ‘life-changing’ tears. While the Mafiathon 2 had already enamored the audiences, Irving’s visit made it all the more special.

Unlike many NBA couples, Kyrie Irving and Marlene Wilkerson did not start their story at the same university. While not much is known about the whereabouts of their first meeting, the two first met in 2018.
Speculations started brewing when the latter attended her first annual Kyrie Invitational, the NBA player’s youth basketball tournament. The two have kept it private to the lengths of their wedding statuses being unknown to the public. However, the fans duly noted two addressed each other as husband and wife.

Per reports, Kyrie Irving is not the first sportsperson Wilkerson was romantically involved with. Previously, she dated Layvin Kurzawa, a renowned French footballer. Additionally, she has also had a connection with Irving’s former teammate, Dexter Strickland. Although he never made it to the NBA, the two played together during their time at St. Patrick High School.

If the internet already did not consider Kyrie Irving a green flag, a recent media interaction surely led them to. In a video surfacing on the internet, the Cowboys star player was asked about his ‘celebrity hall pass‘. When he realized that it meant being able to mess with any celebrity, Irivng did not take a second gap to answer the question.
Kyrie Irving immediately blurted denying the question while confessing his love for his wife. Before running off he also gave a shoutout to his wife and kids. The Mavericks superstar is a father to three children.

Irving and Wilkerson have two sons together. They welcomed their first child, Kaire Irving in June 2021. A year later, Wilkerson gave birth to their second child whose information the two have chosen to keep quiet. Irving also has a daughter Azurie Elizabeth with ex-girlfriend Andrea Wilson.
