Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks hosted the visiting Utah Jazz at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The Mavericks continued their three-game winning streak with a stunning 113-97 win and condemned the Jazz to their fourth loss in a row.
Star player Doncic led the charge for the Mavs with 34 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists and was ably assisted by Daniel Gafford with 24 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
Utah Jazz Finnish forward Lauri Markkanen scored 21 points and had three rebounds and two assists, alongside guard Collin Sexton with 20 points, four rebounds, and five assists.
In general, fans of the Mavericks and basketball have come to witness the chemistry on the court between star players Kyrie Irving and Doncic. This has been one primary reason for the Mavs surge this season, and this was evident last night in the win against the Utah Jazz.
During the third quarter of the game, Doncic won a defensive rebound and then created a three-on-one attack before throwing it up to “Uncle Drew” for the incredible alley-hoop finish.
Apparently, this week has been a week of incredible dunks, with Anthony Edwards’ incredible dunk against the Utah Jazz and Zion Williamson’s against the Brooklyn Nets. The Mavericks team’s 18 dunks are a new franchise record for a single game.

Irving was brought to the Mavericks to complement the services of star player Doncic. Despite the initial struggles, he has begun to show his versatility on and off the ball, reminiscent of Kai, who worked excellently well with LeBron James to win a title for the Cavs.
This season, he is averaging 25.4 PPG, 5.1 RPG, and 5.2 APG for the high-scoring Mavericks.
