The Minnesota Timberwolves star man Karl-Anthony Towns has gotten the whole NBA community’s attention lately. This came after his recent comments regarding the late great Kobe Bryant. Notably, Anthony Towns has a long-standing admiration for the legendary Bryant. As such, he made his feelings known recently.

In an interview on The Rich Eisen Show, the Timberwolves center discussed his interaction with the Mamba and how it influenced his early years in the NBA. Bryant influenced many young upcoming stars back then, and Anthony Towns was one of them.
I didn’t have that welcome moment with Kobe because I had already played Kobe in high school when I played against The Dream Team V2 back in high school, it was him, Bron, Kevin Love, Tyson Chandler… So I kind of had that moment already, like, wow, I’m on the court with Kobe Bryant.
