Khabib Nurmagomedov recently found himself in a difficult situation after the Russian Federation charged the fighter with tax evasion. According to reports, the fighter owes the Russian Federation a staggering $3 million in tax obligations. There has been a new update regarding the incident, with different suspicions swirling around it.
Khabib Nurmagomedov retired from the UFC years ago and has since focused on other business projects and coaching. Russian authorities had already confiscated the fighter’s bank accounts concerning tax evasion. Now, Russian media outlet Mash has reported that Nurmagomedov’s properties totaling $900,000 will allegedly be seized.
The case against Nurmagomedov opened on July 5. Since then, he has been prohibited from leaving the Russian Federation. The bailiffs have already started the search of Nurmagomedov’s properties in Dagestan including his house and car collection. This includes cars such as the Ferrari California T – $300k, Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S – $161k, Mercedes-Benz S-Class – $122k, etc.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has yet to make a formal response regarding the recent charges. After the incident became public, the Dagestani legend was repeatedly insulted by his old opponent, Conor McGregor. Furthermore, one of Nurmagomedov’s gym members was apprehended as a result of his involvement in terrorist attacks.
