However, Muhammad is determined to take home the belt. Before that, Muhammad plans to jump over the octagon like Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 and beat up Edwards’ brother.

The brawl between Team Khabib and McGregor’s team took place at UFC 229 after Dagestani submitted McGregor. The ‘Eagle’ then decided to jump over the octagon and attack McGregor’s BJJ coach Dillon Danis. It is now regarded as one of the wildest moments in the history of UFC. A perfect end to a nasty rivalry between the ‘Notorious’ and Nurmagomedov.

Muhammad is currently training Nurmagomedov with UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. Team Khabib is well known for its incredible discipline and extremely rigorous training sessions. According to Muhammad, he learned a lot from Team Khabib and will be utilizing all his knowledge in the upcoming title fight.

Leon Edwards’s journey to becoming the new welterweight champion was nothing short of magical. During his first title fight against Kamaru Usman, the Brit was losing the fight until the last knockout kick. After the fight the video of his coach motivating him before the last round went viral.

However, Belal Muhammad isn’t a fan of that. On the contrary, according to Muhammad, that moment showed the lack of mentality in Edwards. The fighter in the latest UFC countdown show talked about dominating the champion throughout the fight.
It just shows me that you do not have that dog in you. You do not have that man in you. He is not really a champion. I am going to dominate him, I am going to drown him, I am going to make it the worst night of his life.

Ahead of the fight, both fighters have already indulged in trash-talking. Edwards is not a fan of Muhammad’s recent taunts and is looking forward to keeping his reign with a knockout finish. Nonetheless, all the questions will now be answered at the main event of UFC 304.
