Since becoming the 1st overall pick, Paolo Banchero has steadily developed into an All-Star. As the primary superstar for the Orlando Magic, he leads the team in production. However, to get to that, he worked out with two-time NBA champion Kevin Durant before his All-Star season started.
An offseason workout with one of the best scorers to ever play the game helped him immensely. Not only did he get his overall scoring to improve, but he saw a significant jump in his three-point shot. That increase gave him the opportunity to work and utilize his decent perimeter defense.
All of that culminated in his teammates showering him after being named an All-Star. But during that workout, Kevin Durant impacted another part of his life as well. While sitting down with Marc J Spears of Andscape, he revealed what he told the Phoenix Suns star after he asked him if he lived in the biggest house in Orlando.

“you’re the face of the franchise, you got to live like it.”
He also speaks on the process of returning from his injury.

The Magic star then revealed that he spent most of the early part of the season looking for a suitable house. Then when he found one, he moved this past summer. Now, he resides in a massive mansion near a lake. But there was one particular reason to select and purchase the mansion he resides in.
Paolo Banchero to honor Michael Jordan and LeBron James
Paolo Banchero followed Kevin Durant‘s advice and hunted for a mansion that would suit his stature as the face of the Orlando Magic. Being the biggest sports team in the city also meant he had to find one that befits that. But he revealed what led him to finalize the one he bought.
The 22-year-old named the full-length basketball court, the P5 Arena. Banchero Court. He revealed that since he did not have much time in the offseason, he could not do up the court. However, after this season, he plans to put up posters of his idols, Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
Paolo Banchero has returned from his oblique tear that sidelined him since November. He continues his aspirations of making the All-Star team again, despite missing two months. More importantly, the Orlando Magic will look towards him to reverse their recent bad run of form.
