KD also remarked that people who don’t play ball do not really understand what he has done for the game. So, they often trash-talk him, which is quite different from the real players who see his value and impact.

The 35-year-old has also garnered praise from other athletes for his achievements, most notably WNBA legend Lisa Leslie, who recently congratulated him as he edges closer to breaking her long-held Olympic record of 488 points for the country.
His longevity and commitment to the nation on the world stage, has caused Durant to become one of only three Americans ever to play in four Olympics editions, which includes fellow Team USA teammate LeBron James.
