Since he was drafted as the second overall pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder (then Seattle Supersonics) in 2007, Durant has come a long way from his rookie season. Nonetheless, in a recent interview with Cronkite News Phoenix, Durant expressed his happiness about hearing from younger players that his career achievements in the NBA inspire them.
