Bantamweight star Umar Nurmagomedov recently visited Henry Cejudo and Kamaru Usman‘s podcast in order to talk about his future fights. During the conversation, Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s protege managed to roast both the hosts. However, the Kamaru Usman one was rather personal and has gone viral since then.
During the podcast, Kamaru Usman mentioned that he’s still the boss of the welterweight division and is just taking a break. The former champion has previously talked about making a comeback and getting back his lost glory. In response, Umar Nurmagomedov made a sneaky remark and mentioned Belal Muhammad as the true boss of the division.

Usman had one of the most dominant title reigns in recent times. The Nigerian-American fighter defended his championship five times before losing to Leon Edwards. Usman failed to capture the belt in an immediate rematch and then continued his losing momentum against Khamzat Chimaev.

Kamaru Usman, despite being defeated but still determined, is confident in his ability to make a comeback and does not worry about ‘washed’ assertions. Usman is ranked second in the division and is a contender for the crown. However, Belal Muhammad has other ideas.
After becoming the champion, Belal Muhammad made it clear that he would be as active as possible. The Palestinian-American fighter has plans to beat the greats such as Georges St-Pierre in terms of overall resume. Talking about his first title challenger, Muhammad has proposed a title eliminator between Usman and Shavkat Rakhmonov.

During his peak, Usman swept the division. Muhammad was not a top contender at that time. According to Joe Rogan, it is a big-money fight that the UFC will be eager to stage. Given the fighting style, supporters anticipate a wrestling-heavy fight with the potential for knockouts.
