UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis extended the UFC record for most knockout victories at UFC St. Louis to 15. Before the fight, Lewis realized he had the second-most main event fights in the UFC, with only Jon Jones above him. Interestingly, Jones found something in common with Lewis.

Jones had a ripped body when he was a light heavyweight. However, after he moved up, he was not ripped and even had belly fat. Lewis has a bigger belly fat than Jones. In a recent Q&A session on X, Jones found their body figure to have something to do with their record-breaking feats.

Funnily enough, Jones also trolled his rival Daniel Cormier, who also has belly fat. Jones retweeted a tweet trolling Cormierโ€™s hilarious ad for Pillsbury, citing belly fat as the best base for MMA. Nevertheless, Cormier danced shirtless with the parody of Meghan Trainorโ€˜s song All About That Bass in the ad. To troll Cormier, Jones put in a person-shrugging emoji.

Jones has not fought since he won the vacant heavyweight title at UFC 285, submitting Ciryl Gane in the first round. He was to fight Stipe Miocic at UFC 295 if not for the pectoral injury. Miocic recently revealed he was waiting for Jones, and the fight would potentially happen in November. The victor of Jones vs. Miocic would likely face the winner of Tom Aspinall vs. Curtis Blaydes.

Jon Jones speaks on Tom Aspinall vs. Curtis Blaydes

Dana White recently announced the PPV card for UFC 304. Headlined by Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad, Tom Aspinall would put his interim heavyweight title on the line against Curtis Blaydes. Aspinall had angled for a fight with Jones, but neither Jones nor UFC had any interest in it.

However, Jones recently clarified the fight is for the โ€˜number one contender spotโ€™ on social media. Moreover, he even previewed the matchup. Even though Blaydes was the underdog in the fight, Jones saw paths to victory for the American, as revealed via X.

Jones compared Aspinallโ€™s fight with Sergei Pavlovich and cited Blaydes has the speed and power to knock out the interim champion. Nevertheless, an overwhelming section of the MMA community has picked Aspinall to defend his title in Manchester, England.
