Moreover, he also combined his achievements with Stipe Miocic to insinuate the importance of their legacy fight. He insinuated that they had yet to capture UFC gold.

Curtis Blaydes had recently announced that he and Tom Aspinall were fighting for the ‘real belt.’ The duo will face each other in the co-main event of UFC 304. This would be a rematch that would see Aspinall defend his interim belt. Blaydes also snubbed Jones as the champion, and this is what prompted Jones’s response.

The heavyweight champion does not acknowledge the credibility of Aspinall and has used X to downplay the British fighter at every turn. As such, he does not expect Aspinall to defeat Blaydes in their upcoming showdown.
