Ahead of the new NBA season, Brown has taken an interest in giving back to the community. Apparently, he loves kids and made their day when he gifted one a pair of unreleased signature shoes lately.
In a video shared on his Instagram stories, Jaylen Brown could be seen among kids at Rucker Park. The basketball star played trivia with the children present, before awarding the lucky winner with his unreleased sneakers.

When a young boy replied, “Dr. J,” Brown immediately handed the pair of sneakers to him.
Soon after gifting the shoes, Brown could be seen walking away barefooted as the kids celebrated. Rapper A$AP Ferg was also at the end of the video celebrating with the group of kids. He then told the lucky winner at the park that the sneakers he won were yet to be released.
The famous site in Manhattan is home to a basketball court where NBA stars face off against New York street legends. Notable names such as Lakers superstar LeBron James and the late Kobe Bryant, have participated in streetball at the grounds. As such, it was fitting for Brown to show up and inspire the young boys, who may likely be future stars of the game.

In several posts on social media recently, the Celtics star made his grand ambitions known. Particularly one where he announced to a fan that he’s going for blood next season.
Indeed, the perceived disrespect from critics has fueled his determination to prove himself as one of the best in the game. Last season saw him averaging 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
