The Kerala police summoned the actor for questioning regarding the matter, to which he vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
According to a report by Manorama, Jayasurya made his way to the Thiruvananthapuram police station on a Tuesday morning to address the allegations leveled against him. He adamantly dismissed the claims, labeling them as false and asserting that he had no need for anticipatory bail should the case progress.
Expressing his disbelief, Jayasurya stated, "I completely reject these allegations. This is a baseless case. I don’t even feel the need for anticipatory bail. It’s concerning to see people making such unfounded accusations against individuals. Fortunately, I have a platform to defend myself, unlike many others who may not. This could have severe repercussions for many families."
Furthermore, Jayasurya opened up about feeling like a martyr in light of the two unfounded accusations made against him by female colleagues. He placed his faith in the judicial system and vowed to go to great lengths to prove his innocence.
"I am currently facing two false accusations. A woman has been spreading rumors about me in various circles, insinuating my involvement, only to retract her statements later on multiple occasions. I will pursue legal avenues until my name is cleared of these allegations. I see myself as a martyr in this situation," Jayasurya expressed.
It was on September 1, 2024, when Jayasurya publicly addressed the earlier allegations of sexual misconduct made against him by women. Describing the distress it caused him and the worry it brought to his family, the actor shared his emotional turmoil with his followers.
