Fox Sports has been shaken to its foundation with a hairstylist’s class action lawsuit coming to light. Former Fox Sports host Jason Whitlock had some stuff to say about his former co-workers Skip Bayless and Joy Taylor on his YouTube live stream today.
Hairstylist Noushin Faraji has lodged a lawsuit entailing 6 class action charges against FOX corporation, in addition to 8 other individual charges against some of its employees, the most prominent ones being Executive VP of content Charlie Dixon, former Undisputed lead panelist Skip Bayless and popular Undisputed, The Herd and Speak FS1 host Joy Taylor.
Jason Whitlock was with Fox Sports network during the timeframe when some of these accusations were leveled. He often was a co-panelist or a guest on Undisputed, while later on having his own show. This meant that he knew both Skip Bayless as well as Joy Taylor in a fairly good capacity. Skip and Whitlock were co-workers at ESPN too, before the two of them joined FS1 in 2016.

Whitlock was, much like Skip Bayless, a vocal critic of LeBron James, building an identity around the schtick. However, Whitlock’s controversial opinions were far from limited to just Klutch Sports. Much of the black sports audience did not like his differing views and perspectives when it came to gender and racial issues. This probably played a big role in his FS1 exit, and also in framing his current narrative.
Jason Whitlock now is a poster boy among black conservative media people in sports. He’s known as someone who pushes the boundaries of politeness and decency in his cynical critiques. His take on the latest revelations of the FS1 debacle was quite in line with the disagreeableness of many of his other positions.
In particular, the way that he’s addressed the possibility of being sexually involved with Joy Taylor is something snide.

Given that these are 2 individuals whom NBA Twitter folk hold in low regard, and given Whitlock’s history of consistently antagonizing his former co-workers on his show ‘Fearless’, fans didn’t expect much different from the kind of content and revelations that Whitlock made on today’s stream.
