Love him or hate him, problematic boxer Jake Paul is the Rainman of viral combat sports moments and rumors. The pro boxer/prizefighter often has industry giants in his sight and drives up his value instigating fights. Now, he does it yet again, with names like Conor McGregor, Alex Pereira, and even 50-0 legend Floyd Mayweather.
Paul is on a new high after carrying an immobile but legendary Mike Tyson, 58, all the way to a decision (80-72, 79-73, 79-73) beatdown. Paul vs. Tyson headlined MVP’s Netflix boxing event from the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium. Now, despite the backlash on it, ‘Problem Child’ finds reinforced motivation for a callup. A callup to the world featuring ‘The Notorious’, Alex ‘Poatan’ Pereira, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, and others.
Now, strictly a pro boxer and soon a PFL debutant, Paul reignited his feud with many, touting himself as the top draw. Even though he is not living up to his projected on-sale sweepstake of 90,000 gates at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T, he is still the ‘it’ man. Paul has started such a crossover culture of making impossible matches that the taunt might just drive some reactions.

Before this, Paul ran through Mike Perry in an eight-round cruiserweight battle for DAZN pay-per-view and called out Pereira. Under UFC contractual obligations, it might not be possible, but there’s a call-up brewing. He also let go of his friendship to stack a callup with often viral boxer Ryan Garcia.
Mayweather’s former protege was also in the ranks; both he and Garcia have expressed similar wishes to Paul. For now, though, only a match with McGregor seems closer than ever, and it would blow up his fame further.
Jake Paul on what it takes to make the ‘desperate’ Conor McGregor fight happen
Who’s on Jake Paul’s naughty list at the year-end? KSI for sure. At a media roundtable press conference in Orlando earlier this month, Paul joined his advisors Nakisa Bidarian and Amanda Serrano to field questions. He and MVP co-owner Bidarian yet again dissed Nate Diaz for hiding behind the ‘PFL’ cause-cloak to not sign on for an MMA fight.
However, the one that stands out is Conor McGregor. UFC promotional CEO Dana White has been in a years-long feud with Jake Paul over fighter compensation. But he lauds ‘Maverick’ and is always ready to go to business. While there’s no official go-sign, White teased what might look like he has given his blessing. Logan Paul vs. McGregor might be a legit truth.
So while contractually still under UFC and the TKO umbrella, this boxing setup might be true. However, there are also driving rumors that it’s the other Paul he is fighting. In the White-Paul war, the duo often inserts McGregor as a factor. With Paul engaging that ‘Mac’ is on contractual lockdown on his last legs until the exclusive 2025 broadcast deal.
Now it all makes sense why Conor Mcgregor & his management team have been desperately trying to get MVP to negotiate for a fight between us.
As we told them them privately & I’m now saying it publicly…the only way we’re willing to explore me vs Conor in a pro boxing / mma fight…

The Irishman himself recently said he is making mega bucks with this new fight. However, “El Gallo” says the dwindling Dubliner needs the dough with no proper UFC return. He also hinted that the ‘Notorious’ McGregor return fires because secretly, Team McGregor was “desperately trying” to engage with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP).
Logan himself has stalled with googly-eyed emojis over McGregor’s IG announcement. Meanwhile, the other Paul has tabled the chance, saying he’d need White and Co. to negotiate. For now, if this matchup happens with either Paul, it’s roof-shattering.
