Regarding their relationship, both Jones and Paul have maintained a cordial rapport, lacking any significant animosity towards each other. Over the years, the UFC heavyweight champion, in particular, has consistently praised the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Similarly, Paul has also voiced his support for Jones on several occasions, with his recent analysis of the potential fight between ‘Bones’ and Aspinall serving as a notable example.
Jon Jones wants to make ‘big bucks’ like Jake Paul
Jon ‘Bones’ Jones is arguably one of the biggest superstars on the UFC roster. Over the years, the reigning UFC heavyweight champion has consistently elevated his status by defeating formidable fighters. Most recently, he convincingly defeated Stipe Miocic at UFC 309. However, despite having an illustrious career, Jones has not received extremely high wages and bonuses to date, unlike many other fighters.

Jones highlighted two fighters, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, as examples. Both boxers had bouts on the same weekend as Jones’ fight, but there was a significant difference in their earnings. According to reports, Paul earned approximately $40 million, while Tyson made around $20 million. Similar to these two boxers, Jones also wants to be fairly compensated by the UFC in order to participate in big fights.
