Morant has shown the world what he is capable of, from his supreme dunking to his excellent playmaking skills. The Grizzlies undoubtedly have one of the best young cores in the NBA today.
Just as Ja Morant was rising to the top, a video of him showing off firearms went viral on social media last year. The NBA took strict action and suspended Morant for 25 games. However, when he returned, the Grizzlies started to look great again. Morant made his mark on the game, but then he suffered a shoulder injury that ultimately ended his season.
Recently, Morant’s agent, Mike Miller, talked about Morant and his return on “OG’s Show” with guest Shams Charania. During the show, Charania asked Miller about Ja’s return and how he has been. Miller responded that Morant is putting in all the work and focusing on himself for the coming season.

Ja Morant gets inducted into the Murray State Hall of Fame
Ja Morant has had many achievements throughout his young career. He is a two-time All-Star, an NBA second-team selection, and has even won the Most Improved Player award. Recently, he added another accolade by being inducted into the Murray State Hall of Fame.
Morant played for Murray State as part of the Racers from 2017 to 2019. He was one of the top stars during his sophomore season, becoming the first player in college basketball history to average 20 points and 10 assists per game. Morant had one of the most successful college careers and was one of the most hyped stars when he entered the draft.
Due to his dominant college career, Morant was selected by the Grizzlies as the second overall pick and went on to win Rookie of the Year. He is certainly one of the brightest young stars in the NBA and will be aiming to bring Memphis its first championship.
