It was Nurmagomedovās first experience watching an NBA live. After the game, he met the basketball superstar Steph Curry and shared a memorable moment.
In a recent tweet, Khabib Nurmagomedov shared his experience watching an NBA game live for the first time. He stated it was a very different experience. As such, he thanked the Toronto Raptors for the invitation. But he did so by posting an image of Steph Curry, who played for the Golden Warriors. Here is what he said:

Later, in another tweet, he shared a picture he took with Steph Curry. The basketball star presented Khabib Nurmagomedov with his match jersey as a kind gesture. Also, he signed the jersey for him. Sharing the image on X, Nurmagomedov addressed Curry as a āLegend.ā The Golden State Warriors clinched the victory 120-105 with the help of Curry, scoring 25 points with six assists and six rebounds. As such, the Dagestani fighter was impressed with Curryās performance.
Khabib Nurmagomedov, apart from MMA, is a fan of many sports, including football and basketball. As such, he often played a āDagestani versionā of basketball with modified rules. Now, he met the basketball star Steph Curry. But, his longtime dream to meet the legend Michael Jordan remains unfulfilled.

The UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov was an avid fan of basketball. Once, he shared the experience of watching Michael Jordanās documentary āThe Last Dance.ā It inspired the UFC legend, and he stated Jordanās character resembled him in many ways. As such, he mentioned he was a fan of Jordan.
The Eagle expressed his wish to meet the basketball legend when he guested the Full Send Podcast in 2022. He was even willing to present the podcast hosts three sheep and a dog if they arranged a meeting with Jordan. Presenting animals was a way of giving something valuable to Russian culture. As such, Khabib really wanted to meet Michael Jordan.
Although Khabib Nurmagomedov couldnāt meet Michael Jordan, he recently met Steph Curry and witnessed his first live NBA game. As such, he was a happy man. āThe Eagleā retired from MMA in 2020 following his fatherās demise. He has an undefeated MMA record of 29-0 with three title defenses. As such, he was a Hall of Famer and a legend in combat sports.
