These public displays of affection came shortly after Monét opened up about her separation from Gaines, with whom she shares a three-year-old daughter named Hazel. On the other hand, Stormzy and Maya Jama had announced their split three months prior.
The last time fans saw Monét and Gaines together was when they took to social media on September 23rd to announce their separation. In a joint statement, they revealed that their relationship had ended ten months earlier but decided to keep it private until false rumors and questions started circulating.
In their heartfelt message, the former couple clarified, “We have spent the last 10 months respectfully navigating the end of our romantic relationship. While we still have deep love and respect for each other, we are no longer a couple. There was no betrayal, toxicity, or drama.”
