The Oklahoma City Thunder vs Boston Celtics matchup was a spectacle for NBA fans. The C’s lost to the Thunder 105-92 on Sunday at Paycom Center after being outplayed in the second half. With their 15th consecutive win, the Thunder improved to 30-5, while the C’s fell to 26-10. However, Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander starred as the headline-maker.
SGA starred for his side over Jayson Tatum of the Celtics, making a strong case for the NBA MVP Award. He scored a whopping 33 points. Aaron Wiggins made an impact by scoring 15 points after coming off the bench. The Celtics had the second-highest offensive rating in the NBA going into the game. However, the Thunder held them to 27 points in the second half.
On the other hand, the Celtics had Tatum’s 26 points and 10 rebounds and Jaylen Brown‘s 21 points. The Celtics’ shots deserted them in the second half, as they went only 3-for-24 on three-pointers. In addition to giving the Thunder a second chance at the game, the Celtics could not respond to the Oklahoma City defense after that.

The Celtics are still second in the Eastern Conference Standings, trailing the Cleveland Cavaliers for top spot. In addition, after this loss, the Celtics will play the Denver Nuggets away from home on Tuesday to wrap out their four-game road trip. All eyes will be on the upcoming fixture, with the Celtics fans hoping for a response from their side.

He recorded a massive 33 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists against the likes of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown of the Celtics. SGA has been exceptional this season, and his recent performance has not gone unnoticed.
