Unlike the other major sports leagues, the UFC and the athletes often get the label of conservatives. Nevertheless, everyone deserves the freedom of speech. Consequently, being a father in this day and age comes with many changes. Alistair Overeem, a former UFC title challenger, recently spoke out against such ‘wokeness.’ affecting one of his daughters with Transgenderism.

There’s Dana White, Joe Rogan, and most of the fighters who have come under fire for critiquing wokeness. There are also those unhinged like Sean Strickland, who went the extra mile on it. Strickland had ripped alleged ‘LGBTQ ally’ reporter Alexander K. Lee during his pre-fight Media Day. However, Alistair Overeem’s situation seems to hit close to home.

I have three girls. The problem is with the oldest daughter. She thinks she is my son, she’s all into this woke nonsense…If it was not sad it would be happy, funny actually… She thinks she’s a man… Why? She’s addicted to her phone she’s being brainwashed basically six seven eight hours a day…I’m not going to call her a he! She thinks she’s a he, that is as left as it becomes.

Overeem has won titles in K-1, Dream, and Strikeforce and has had a storied chapter. The Dutch Ex-UFC Heavyweight joined co-host Bear Degidio and Luke Rockhold on the JAXXON Podcast. Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson prompted transgenderism as a design by elites and left-wing extremists to diminish the human populous. Overeem agreed. Consequently, many have vibed with this.

Some have pitched in against it, while others have been sympathetic to the 44-year-old father on the internet. Overeem said blatantly that he would never call his child by a masculine pronoun. However, he overcorrected that it does not mean he does not love his eldest daughter; he has spoken about it at length before as well.

Even in this modern day and age, the issue of Transgendarism or homosexuality is a contentious one and always on the cusp of breaking loose. With inclusive policies to include transgender entities in avenues, many have taken to bring notice to it. Some even took the extra step of advocating crude changes.

If, for example, Strickland or some other fighter goes on unfiltered rants about these, they can be subject to criticism for their blatantly overt takes. Women’s bantamweight champ and openly lesbian powerhouse Raquel Pennington had a valid reason to take umbrage with Strickland’s comments about gay people or WMMA. But what of the bleeding heart of a father?

Ex-UFC heavyweight title challenger Alistair Overeem’s views might seem too stern. However, it’s about his trans daughter, after all. He once turned heads in a podcast episode when he revealed that his daughter is currently struggling with gender dysphoria.

She feels like a boy. For me, that’s a very interesting thing. As I see it, she’s definitely not a boy. I want my daughter to be happy like that. But I do have a strategy for that….Look, gender problems are a thing of the past and a lot of young people are suffering from it. So we can all give everyone surgery, but that’s not the solution.

The Dutchman presented that once a gender change happens, it is more of a hormonal change as well. So, at a hormonal level, Overeem thinks it might just keep happening. After a “long plan,” he estimates food might be the cause of it all.

He thinks Transgenderism comes down to the staple diet that acts as a hormonal stimulus causing such disbalances or so. While an out-of-pocket take on how Transgenderism or homosexuality works, these might be simple signs of a father wanting some change.
