The UFC world has not seen “The Notorious” Conor McGregor inside the octagon in almost three years. That will change at UFC 303, where he will lock horns with “Iron” Michael Chandler in the main event. A month ahead of the anticipated matchup, the Irishman has sent a stern warning to the American.

McGregor recently engaged in a Q&A session with fans, dissing several UFC superstars. Soon after, McGregor spoke with Oscar Willis of The MacLife, where the Irishman seemed more refined. Moreover, his stern warning to Chandler was also a reflection of the refinement.

I’m ready to go. I’m calm, I’m composed, I’m cold in the soul for this man. This whole thing, I’m coming back with a vengeance, and I’m coming back with skill.

McGregor revealed he was in a great spot from a mental, physical, and spiritual perspective. As such, he has no animosity towards Chandler. He cited having animosity won’t serve his purpose. Moreover, the Irishman is excited to showcase his skills to the fans.

McGregor also revealed he has already found patterns that Chandler does in a fight. As such, he is confident he would land every shot. McGregor’s head coach, John Kavanagh, had already predicted a second-round knockout of Chandler, similar to when McGregor fought Chad Mendes.

After he knocked out Hooker in the first round, Chandler called out Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. In a social media post, the three-time Bellator lightweight champion recently revealed that he manifested fighting the Irishman.

I have a knack for thinking ahead, it’s one of my gifts. I’ve manifested my entire @ufc run thus far…We ain’t even close to slowing down. Next stop #ufc303.

Chandler is a small betting underdog against McGregor for UFC 303. Incidentally, both are coming off losses against Poirier in their last fight. Even though the fight is at welterweight, the winner would likely bag an inside track into a lightweight title shot.

After all, Dana White revealed the event will likely generate more than $20 million in the live gate. However, many have claimed the live gate numbers are inaccurate, citing inflation that was not considered while revealing it. Nevertheless, Chandler will earn a huge paycheck for headlining UFC 303.
