Dana White confirms about entering the boxing world as a promoter

Donald Trump is a passionate MMA enthusiast and has expressed his enthusiasm on numerous occasions. He has attended several UFC pay-per-view events to demonstrate his dedication to the sport. However, for the upcoming UFC 309 fight night in November, Trump has mentioned an intriguing condition for his attendance, as discussed with UFC commentator Joe Rogan.

A few hours ago, former US President Donald Trump made his highly anticipated appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience. During the podcast episode, Rogan and Trump covered several intriguing topics, including discussions about UFC fighters. The ex-POTUS asked about UFC fighter Bo Nickal’s next fight, slated for November after the Presidential elections. Trump humorously set a condition for attending.

Oh that’s gonna be an inch after the election?… So, I’ll either go as President or I will be depressed and I won’t bother…

Rogan couldn’t stop laughing after hearing that. The former President often showcases his sense of humor whenever he can. However, his condition is contingent on how the upcoming presidential elections unfold. Interestingly, a majority of the UFC community has already pledged their support for him. Additionally, even boxing legend Mike Tyson has come out in support of Trump.

The UFC community supports Trump primarily because of his resilient nature, which many fighters find captivating. This support grew even more after Trump survived an assassination attempt a few months ago. Trump attended the Madison Square Gardens PPV (UFC 295) last year, but the election result will decide his appearance this time.

Initially, Rogan and Trump were discussing the similarities between boxing and MMA. During this conversation, the UFC commentator highlighted how Dana White could influence boxing and enhance its overall appeal. The former President of the United States seemed to agree with Rogan. As such, he even expressed confidence in White’s abilities.

I think Dana (White) is working with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They’re going to start promoting boxing now and with Dana at the helm of it, I think boxing can return because the thing is they want to make fights that other people maybe you know promoters don’t want to make because they want to protect their fighter…

Trump expressed his surprise that the UFC has had no deaths while boxing has experienced multiple fatalities. Currently, Dana White’s plans for entering the boxing world remain uncertain. Saudi GEA and Turki Alalshikh hold the UFC boss in high regard and expect him to be a key player in taking boxing to the next level.
