This revelation was made on the recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast. His guest was the legend Royce Gracie. Rogan believed that the MMA rules favor strikers over grapplers. He believed that the first round of the fight should be 10 minutes long. This would favor grapplers if they take down the opponent. 

The rules are set up much more for strikers than for wrestlers… the fight is the fight. I don’t think you should stand people up, ever. I think once a guy takes you down, the fight is on the ground…If it’s boring for the audience, tough sh*t. If you’re on the bottom, get up! And if you can’t get up, tough sh*t.

The UFC’s outspoken commentator just couldn’t kick his coffee habit. Joe Rogan recently decided to ditch caffeine for a day, but it didn’t go well. His humorous account of struggling without his daily fix resonated with many people all around the world.

Rogan shared on Instagram that he recently tried to ditch caffeine for a day and see the effects it had on him. The podcaster revealed that he was all good until the evening. This is when the withdrawal symptoms started kicking in. Rogan stated that he felt hungover and had intense brain fog.

So, I wanted to see what it’s like to take the day off caffeine. I was good until about 5:30 pm, and I started feeling hungover and like my brain was replaced with wet cotton. I won’t be doing that again.
