FERG & Jaylen Brown Debate GOAT Rap Beefs, Hairstyles and First Date Questions | GOAT Talk

Somewhere between the Greatest Of All Times debates, there is a contradicting unwanted Worst Of All Times. In an episode of โ€˜Goat Talkโ€™ by Complex, Jaylen Brown had his two cents on one of the latter. Sitting alongside A$AP Ferg, the NBA star picked a song by Grammy-nominated rapper Ice Spice.

A$AP Ferg and Jaylen Brown indulged in a round of picking the worst song of all times. While hesitant at first, Brown spilled his opinions after the formerโ€™s words of encouragement.

The reigning NBA Finals MVP cited rapper Ice Spiceโ€™s โ€˜Think you the sh*t (Fart)โ€™. Brownโ€™s answer gained a jest from Ferg as a mimicry of what the internet would hold against Brown. However, the Boston Celtics star dismissed the banter, acquiring a laugh from โ€˜Plane Janeโ€™ signer.

First thing that came to mind was the Ice Spice joint. Iโ€™m not even a fart, you thought I was the s**t. Iโ€™m not even the s**t.

Jaylen Brown said

While the track is 37th on the Billboard Hot 100, it was no short of criticism and ridicule from the public. Ice Spice released the viral track earlier this year, allegedly as a diss towards fellow rapper Latto. The track came after the two sent shades after one another on social media. However, according to Spice, there is no actual animosity between the two.

This wasnโ€™t the first time A$AP Ferg and Jaylen Brown collaborated. In fact, theyโ€™ve had a close relationship since the early days of Brownโ€™s NBA career. In 2019, Ferg gifted the Celtics star a custom pendant to celebrate his 23rd birthday. Additionally, the rapper has often been spotted in the stands supporting Brown during games.

Jaylen Brown is not a rookie himself in terms of raps and disses. A short while ago, the blunt duo, Brown and A$AP Ferg, sat down for a rap on their track, โ€˜Just Do Itโ€™. The track not-so-shockingly was an aim at the Nike corporation.

The track came post Brownโ€™s snub from the Basketball Team USA for the Paris Olympics. Back in July,ย there was a debate over whether Nikeโ€™s influenceย with Team USA kept Brown off the roster. As for the collaboration, Ferg had once picked an alliance with Brown out of all NBA players for a rap.

Although it remains to be seen if Brown will take to the new hobby or leave it at a one and done. For now, he remains with the Celtics, who report to training camp next month.
