Irishman Ian Garry is seeking gold, legacy, and cage justice. To that end, he meets the dangerous Shavkat Rakhmonov for the UFC 310 Pay-per-view (PPV) event co-headliner at the weekend. If he gets past him, Machado Garry will also be vying for all the big names right after. โThe Futureโ plays โBack to the Futureโ and gives some neat predictions.
Surging fighter Ian Garry, takes on 170-pound title challenger, Shavkat Rakhmonov in what could be a clinical mayhem. The fight between Garry vs. Rakhmonov at UFC 310 PPV is for five, five-minute rounds. โNomadโ is a rare finisher who opens up on later rounds and touts a 100% success rate. Garry, who has only had R1 finishes over Daniel Rodriguez and Jordan Williams, explained his game plan.
At 15-0 and the exclusive โ8-0โ club, Garry is taking a true test against Rakhmonov (18-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC). However, some pundits and oddsmakers are splitting hairs over just how more dangerous Rakhmonov is than the new Team Chute Boxe fighter. Per opening odds, Rakhmonov is priced at +235 to win against Machado Garry, a -290 underdog. The reality is more even than that,
Both he and Garry tout finishes over longstays Neil Magny and Geoff Neal. Rakhmonov was the first to submit former title challenger Stephen Thompson last December, while Ian Garry met and grappled out point-striker Michael Page. Hence Garry has confidence in working up the later rounds.

Rakhmonov will take on his former training partner at Team Kill Cliff FC in Machado Garry. While the Irishman has traveled around to learn from different places, Rakhmonov has chosen to call the Florida-based gym his home. The 30-year-old phenom douses he has room to improve, but considers himself the most dangerous in the 170 class.
Shavkat Rakhmonov touts himself versatile and โProblem for anyoneโ at this weight class
Shavkat Rakhmonov heads into UFC 310 with a 100 percent record of finishes. He is also boosting hundred percent confidence in what he can do. His vs. Ian Machado Garry (15-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC) in a five-round welterweight bout in Saturdayโs co-main event could decide the No. 1 seed for gold.
The Kazakh fame was to challenge for the gold straight up. But welterweight champ Belal Muhammad pulled out due to a toe infection. The sport doesnโt stand still, and he drew Ian Garry in hopes of taking each othersโ zero.
โCountdownโย for UFC 310 (pay-per-view, ESPN 2, ESPN+) took a behind-the-scenes look at the top bill players and their story so far. During the segment, Rakhmonov stated what he thought about this opportunity to work up to the gold.
Rakhmonov has already secured his shot at the belt but is putting it on the line by accepting another fight. Thereโs no reason for Rakhmonov to be lacking in confidence, though. Heโs not only beaten every opponent heโs come up against, but heโs finished them all by knockout or submission. Something he thinks heโll keep doing despite the top-notch competition.
