Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly appealed to India all-rounder Hardik Pandya to play Test cricket again in the near future. Ganguly opined that a player like Pandya will fit in conditions like England.
Though Pandya used to be an all-format player for India in the past, due to injuries in the past, he has not sported the white jersey for India for a long time. Itโs yet to be seen whether he decides to play red-ball cricket in the future or not. At present, he plays only ODIs and T20Is and on several occasions, captained the T20I side also.
โI hope Hardik Pandya is listening. I want to see him play est cricket, especially in these conditions,โ Ganguly said on India Today.
Pandya has featured in 11 Test matches in his career, scoring 532 runs with one century and five fifties. In bowling, he has scalped 17 wickets, including a five-wicket haul against England.
